Only a few more weeks to go now before we set off to Sport Horse Nationals. Horses and riders have been going through much training and fine tuning in preparation and we are almost ready – Good luck girls.
Home again after a very busy week – for both 2 and 4 and legged parties. The horses behaved impeccably, as did everyone else.
Competition was intense this year with many stunning horses and much incredible riding to be seen – a joy to watch.
We were hoping for some cooler weather but it seemed to us to be as hot in Albuquerque as it was when we left Phoenix, though we hadnt heard about the 115+ temperatures back home.
Thankfully the journeys there and back were uncomplicated with great weather, little traffic and no mechanical difficulties (unlike the 5 flat tires on the way to Sport Horse Nationals last year)
Well, now we start the preparation work to do it all again at SHN in a few weeks
Well the time is nearing once again and preparations have been under way for some time. Just a few more days and we will be making the journey to Albuquerque once again. Hopefully to cooler weather, but not as wet as previous years.
